Vienna sits in the middle of Europe: Bratislava is an hour away, Budapest and Prague three. For us that is routine, not a special case.
Most often we drive to Italy – classic and sports cars in the enclosed transporter –, to the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and France are no problem either. You get a fixed price for the entire route up front.
Within the EU there is no customs – you need the purchase contract and vehicle papers, we handle the rest. For trips over 800 km we plan an overnight stop; your vehicle stays secured on the trailer or in the enclosed transporter. Motorcycles come along on the same trip.
