Switzerland is not in the EU, so import and export go through customs. We know the process and tell you up front which papers you need.
Zurich is about seven hours from Vienna via A1, A12 and the Arlberg. We collect vehicles from dealers, private sellers and auctions across Switzerland and bring them to Austria – or the other way round, as a transfer or purchase pickup.
Customs requires the purchase contract, vehicle registration and possibly an export certificate – we go through it with you beforehand so nothing gets stuck at the border. Duties and import VAT are paid by the buyer. We tell you honestly what to expect.
